    Program Manager- AMWIK

    Key Responsibilities

    • In charge of the design and implementation of program outputs within budget.
    • Engage stakeholders and represent the Organization and the Executive Director in her absence.
    • Fundraising and developing proposals for donor consideration.
    • Provide oversight and support to the Executive Director in program administrative matters.
    • Generate reports to various donors and AMWIK in consultation with the Executive Director.
    • Provide oversight for members of the association and manage their concerns in consultation with the Executive Director.
    • Custodian of contracts with stakeholders and members, ensuring strict timelines on project implementation.
    • Executive coordination of meetings and workshops and the main contact persons with project beneficiaries.
    • Supervise staff members, interns and volunteers as assigned.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

    Requirements and qualifications

    • A minimum of eight years experience in program management in a non-governmental/not-for-profit organization that is donor driven.
    • Demonstrable leadership capabilities to engage key stakeholders and donors.
    • Experience in end-to-end design and implementation of multiple projects.
    • Experience in fundraising and the development of successful proposals.
    • Experience in managing budgets and developing budget utilisation reports to donors.
    • A relevant bachelor’s degree.
    • Project management certification is an added advantage. Skills required.
