    Project Coordinator-Fragility Financial Inclusion

    Duties and Accountabilities:

    • Develop a good understanding of Treasury’s advisory programs related to local currency financing and capital markets development which includes capacity building initiatives and markets developments programs in areas of derivatives, money, and debt securities markets.
    • Advise CIA leadership and staff on a strategy to assemble and curate material needed to produce promotional material and value propositions for stakeholders, and impact reports for different programs managed by the Unit
    • Proactively assist CIA staff in the design and production of written and visual contents related to IFC-sponsored Capital Markets Postgraduate Programs (for both the English and French offerings) as well as other ongoing advisory initiatives.
    • As needed, and with the assistance of CIA staff, draft and edit CIA written communications about events related to the Unit’s activities and coordinate with the communication teams on the appropriate channels for information’s diffusion.
    • Prepare regular donor reports and ensure compliance with donor and IFC agreements, including budget, success stories, and impact reports.
    • Assist CIA team in identifying interesting value-added ideas for thought pieces and events highlighting CIA and IFC Treasury contributions to local currency financing and capital markets development.
    • As needed, support CIA staff managing the relationship with the partners and the delivery of the French offering of the Capital Markets postgraduate program.
    • Lead and contribute to the development of fundraising pitches and proposals.
    • Perform other tasks, as required.

    Selection Criteria: ·

    • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) in communications, journalism, preferably with a minor or writing experience in financial topics.
    • Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant work experience (in a financial services organization or financial journalism preferred), with a demonstrated record of success in writing and editorial functions.
    • Excellent English and French languages writing, and editorial skills are a necessity.
    • Track record in designing effective, attractive presentations and other short-form communications (short thought pieces, training material, and executive briefing notes) is desired, but not required.
    • Ability to express complex technical and financial concepts in terms easily understood by non-financial experts.
    • Good interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively across organizational units and to develop productive relationships with colleagues in a coaching capacity.
    • Pro-active, able to multitask, and attentive to detail.
    • Previous experience of the type described above in IFC or the World Bank Group is an advantage.
