Project Engineer at Stratostaff

Key Responsibilities

HSSEQ

• Participating in training of Contractors on HSSEQ issues e.g. Work Site Safety Training to improve safety.
• Ensuring all company installations are done within the group, company and statutory standards
• Facilitating implementation and maintenance of certifications like ISSSRS and improvements resulting from Internal Audits, EDOC, TRA and SafetyTours Audits.

PROJECTS

•  Carrying out initial designs, preparing scope/specifications, tender documents and ensuring timely implementation of allocated projects within the agreed scope, time and budget.
• Overseeing implementation of projects as per the procedures in place and to achieve the stated objectives.
•  Assisting in continuous value engineering to improve the value derived from both Projects and Maintenance programs.

MAINTENANCE

• Supporting implementation of Preventive, Corrective and Predictive maintenance for all facilities and equipment.
• Checking that the maintenance programs in place meet company requirements through review of key Performance Indicators KPIs of the various maintenance schedules.
• Ensuring continuous improvement of maintenance of equipment and facilities

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Civil /Mechanical /Electrical Engineering
•  At least five (5) years’ experience in project management and design on engineering processes
• Knowledge of Technical & HSE Standards for Petroleum Sites
• Good analytical and supervisory skills
•  High level of integrity and ability to work within strict deadlines
