Project Management - Consultant Trainer Based in Nairobi at Indepth Research Services (IRES)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consultant Trainer in Project Management to join our pool of expert trainers. This role involves delivering high-impact training sessions to professionals across sectors, equipping them with practical skills and globally recognized methodologies.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, customize, and deliver project management training programs (onsite and virtual).
• Facilitate interactive sessions using real-life case studies, tools, and simulations.
• Align training content with international standards (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.).
• Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust delivery based on feedback.
• Support the continuous professional development of participants.
• Collaborate with IRES staff in preparing training schedules, materials, and reports.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:  

• A Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. (A Master's degree is an added advantage)
• Professional certifications such as PMP®, PRINCE2®, CAPM®, PMI-ACP®, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management and at least 2 years in training or capacity building.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver adult learning programs effectively.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work with diverse participants from different cultural and professional backgrounds.

Added Advantages:

• Experience in donor-funded projects or public sector consulting.
• Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or other modern PM frameworks.
• Membership in recognized professional bodies (e.g., PMI).
