Project Manager – Multi-View Vein-Based Biometric Authentication System at Artemis Outsourcing Limited

Reporting To: Project Lead
Job Purpose

• The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the multi-view vein-based biometric authentication system pilot in selected counties. The role entails tracking deliverables, ensuring milestones are met, coordinating meetings, and managing field activities. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Kenya’s health information system, change management, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a detailed project plan, including timelines, resources, and risk assessments.
• Oversee the implementation of project activities in the pilot counties.
• Ensure adherence to project goals, scope, and deliverables.
• Track project milestones, ensuring timely execution of tasks.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with MOH, county health officials, healthcare providers, and implementing partners.
• Coordinate and facilitate stakeholder meetings, including workshops and training sessions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Develop strategies to support adoption and user acceptance among healthcare providers.
• Facilitate smooth integration of the biometric authentication system into the existing Kenya Health Information System (KHIS).
• Prepare and submit progress reports to the project lead
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in project management, preferably in the healthcare or technology sector.
• Strong understanding of Kenya’s health system, including KHIS and digital health solutions.
• Experience in change management and stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
