Project Manager- Muungano Gender Forum at International Solidarity Foundation (ISF)

• ISF is now seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the project, and to supervise the project team consisting of a Communications Coordinator and a Finance Officer.

Main duties

• Supervise project staff and provide leadership to the team
• Any other tasks requested by the Supervisor.

Required skills and experience

Education:

• Appropriate University Degree in the fields of gender studies, community development, social sciences etc.

Professional experience:

• At least 3 years’ experience in implementing gender programmes, preferably in the grassroots.
• At least 3 years’ experience in project management including planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting
• Experience in community mobilization and working with communities
• Knowledge of relevant national and local policies, actors and networks in the developing countries.
• Ability to facilitate joint meetings and workshops.
• Ability to lead a small team, work independently and influence others.
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Good skills in Office software packages, especially Microsoft Office.

Language Requirements:

• Excellent written and oral English and working language of the implementing county.
