Quality Assurance Assistant at Mission for Essential Drugs and Supplies (MEDS)

Job Description/Requirements

Reporting to Quality Assurance Supervisor.

Key responsibilities:

• Inspecting all inbound consignment against set specifications
• Investigating quality complaints and recommending appropriate corrective and preventive actions
• Assessing prequalification samples against respective specifications for medical devices & Equipment
• Maintaining an appropriate records management and archiving system in the section
• Coordinating monthly sampling and testing of medical devices & equipment from MEDS warehouse
• Housekeeping, including monitoring of environmental conditions

Job requirements:

• Diploma in Nursing
• Functional skills: Knowledge of GMP and GDP standards Communication skills, Report writing skills, Organisational skills
• Behavioural competencies and attitude: Interpersonal relations, Integrity, selfdriven, Detail-oriented
• Work experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience with medical devices & equipment
