Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control processes from feed to fish production stages.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with operations and sales teams to establish and maintain quality benchmarks.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced efficiency and product quality.
• Analyze data and trends to address potential quality issues proactively.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and standards for compliance.
• Conduct internal audits to assess adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Liaise between departments to address quality concerns and facilitate communication.
• Collaborate with suppliers to maintain quality standards in the supply chain.
• Prepare regular reports on quality assurance performance for management.
• Provide staff training on quality assurance protocols and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (food science, aquaculture, biology, or related).
• Must have 5 years’ experience in quality assurance within aquaculture or food production.
• Strong knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards.
• The ideal candidate should be someone that has experience as a manager in food or flower production industries (flowers, vegetables/herbs, fish, dairy, pharma to name a few) in an environment with international quality standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Leadership experience (quality team management experience) and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and drive change management focused on people adhering to processes.
