    Recruitment Administrator - Seconded

    Job Summary/Overview

    We are seeking applications for positions within our recruitment Compliance Administration Team initially on a secondment basis with possibility of extension.

    This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our recruitment compliance team.  You will work closely with the Recruitment Compliance Administration Supervisor and other key stakeholders, such as Recruitment Administrators, Recruitment Business Partners, and Senior Operational Managers.

    You will guide external candidates through the onboarding stages of their recruitment journey, reviewing, collecting and verifying Identity and Eligibility to work and vetting documentation, and processing all necessary background and compliance checks.

    You will also be involved with auditing of internal staff, checking various systems and sources of information to verify employee records and to check that employees have met the required employment vetting standards.

    This is a role working within the volume recruitment department, therefore is is an incredibly busy and fast paced environment. With volume recruitment, tasks can be repetitive and deadlines are frequent.

    We are seeking individuals that are good working under pressure, are proactive, Self-motivated, can think on their feet, have good attention to detail and are not afraid of a challenge.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To act as the “Hub” for candidates and the wider business to provide a high quality and timely administrative service, in an environment where each interaction matters.
    • Supporting with the delivery of recruitment requirements within agreed timelines.
    • Candidate management with regular contact with candidates throughout the recruitment cycle, including video calls for document verification.
    • All relevant administrative processes to be completed with a high level of accuracy and efficiency at all times.
    • Ensuring identity and eligibility to work documents are produced by all candidates and verified prior to making an offer of employment, data entry.
    • Maintaining the recruitment database, ensuring it remains up to date and adheres to GDPR regulations to support periodic auditing for compliance.
    • Probity – Processing background checks such as Adverse Credit, Criminal Checks and Employment History checks.
    • Building and developing positive and useful relationships with a range of internal stakeholders, including Training, HR Admin, Operational Managers and other recruitment team members, across South Africa, United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
    • End to end auditing of internal employee files.
    • Providing regular reports and updates to relevant stakeholders.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum 2-year previous administration experience.
    • Ability to communicate with a wide range of people in a professional capacity.
    • Excellent telephone skills with the ability to handle queries in a helpful and supportive manner.
    • Proactive approach and the ability to initiate change where required.
    • Capable of working under pressure, prioritising and multi-tasking meet deadlines.
    • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, regard for accuracy and data entry skills.
    • Strong IT skills with experience of in-house systems.
    • Competent in using Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Ability to cope with change in a fast-paced environment.
