Regional Financial Controller at CSquared

You will focus on all accounting aspects of the business. You will work closely with the business to support and directly contribute to its growth. You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Business Development teams to manage financial risk, and develop and maintain scalable accounting processes to support new markets and new products.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review monthly financial data and ensure all monthly activity has been recorded and reconciled
• Provide financial results and key drivers to FP&A Team
• Define and document accounting policies and procedures
• Ensure tax and financial compliance in all jurisdictions
• Review and evaluation of new and existing business contracts
• Overall coordination with external auditors and external providers of tax services
• Manage the delivery by the Group Outsourced Accounting Vendor. Agreements on key KPIs between operating entities and the Group Outsourced Accounting Vendor
• Manage, train, guide and develop the Group and OpCo finance teams
• Drive, manage and embed operational excellence and a continuous improvement culture within the team to deliver improvements to financial policies, processes and systems
• Create and promote a sound financial control environment in all entities in the Group

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/ BSc degree or equivalent
• ACCA/ CPA or equivalent
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience in finance/accounting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with Big Four firm and working in a multinational firm managing an accountancy/ finance function
• Solid understanding of IFRS
• Strong project management, process improvement and computer skills.
• Experience with management of compliance requirements in multiple jurisdictions
• Attention to detail, organized and thorough with desire for continuous improvement, along with excellent analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgement and the ability to communicate with seasoned management.
• Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment, and to lead and drive complex initiatives.
