Requirements for Appointment

• Regional Productive and Services- 2 Posts; Regional Political Integration- 2 Posts & Northern Corridor Program – 1 Post)
• For appointment to this grade a candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:-Civil/Mechanical/Electrical and Electronics/Energy /Agricultural/Telecommunication/Aeronautical/Petroleum Engineering, Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, Forestry, Wildlife Management, Environmental Science/Studies, Disaster Preparedness/Environmental Management, Natural Resources Management, Meteorology, Mineralogy/Geology, Hydrogeology, Geothermal, Tourism, Trade, Business Administration/Management or its equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya.

Duties and Responsibilities
This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will be deployed in any of the following areas and work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include: - 

• At Regional Productive and Services and Regional Political Integration
• collecting data and information on infrastructure development, transport, communication, meteorology, energy, environment and natural resources, tourism, wildlife management, environmental disaster management, agriculture and food security; and  
• participating and preparing briefs in preparatory meetings of relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to inform the Country Position Papers.
• At Northern Corridor Program
• collecting information on Northern Corridor Development on energy and infrastructure projects;
• compiling data on the impact of Northern Corridor Development energy and infrastructure projects on the national economy;
• preparing materials for consultative meetings on country’s position papers with Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) and other stakeholders on Northern Corridor Integration Projects energy and infrastructure sectors;
• disseminating information on Northern Corridor Development Projects to the sector stakeholders; and
• compiling materials for investment forums and exhibitions on Northern corridor Development Projects between partner states.
