    Registered Nurse - 4 Posts

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assessing study participants and establishing health care needs.
    • Planning and implementing research related procedures as per specific study protocols. Ie
    • Project enrolment
    • Working closely with the Community health promoters
    • Liaison officer between the Project and the health facility staff
    • Ensuring infection prevention control at the site
    • Assisting in data collection at the study site
    • Providing health education and counselling on identified health and socio-economic needs to patients/clients.
    • Completing data capture as per specific study protocol.
    • Referring patients and clients appropriately.
    • Ensuring quality control on nursing documents.
    • Ensuring a tidy and safe clinical environment.
    • Ensuring safe custody of the nursing equipment and nursing records
    • Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

    Vacancy Requirements:

    • Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Nursing, Kenya Registered Midwifery, Nursing/Midwifery, Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.    Mandatory
    • Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya.    Mandatory
    • Valid Practicing Licensing from the Nursing Council of Kenya;    Mandatory
    • Experience in Research/Clinical trials    Mandatory
    • Proficiency in computer application skills from a recognized institution.    Mandatory
    • Organizational Skills    Mandatory
    • Communication Skills    Mandatory
    • Interpersonal skills    Mandatory
    • Team player    Mandatory
