Renal Nurse- 3 Positions at The Nairobi Women's Hospital

Job Description: 

Reporting to the Hospital Matron, this position is responsible for planning and organizing service delivery in the section, providing professional specialized nursing care in the renal unit including patient assessment and preparation, documentation, communication and education. Carry out infection control procedures and at all times ensure patient safety, clinical monitoring and interventions as required.

Qualifications: 

• Higher Diploma in Nephrology Nursing with 1 years’ experience in a busy dialysis clinic.
• Degree in Nursing and valid licensing from the Nursing Council of Kenya with at least 4 years’ experience

Key Competencies: 

• Advanced clinical and technical training in renal nursing / experience in renal nursing, Emergency response and resuscitation skills, Ability to calibrate and troubleshoot renal machines, Attention to detail, Excellent communications skills and counseling.
