    Research and Quality Assurance Officer - 6 Posts

    The duties and responsibilities of the officer will entail:

    • Identifying problems/areas for possible research;
    • Drafting proposals for research studies;
    • Inducting personnel to be involved in the various activities of the research studies;
    • Development of instruments for data collection;
    • Validation of instruments and compiling validation reports;
    • Training of data collectors;
    • Security printing and storage of data collection instruments;
    • Drawing work plans and budgets for research studies;
    • Participating in data collection, entry, cleaning, and analysis;
    • Report writing and dissemination of findings and recommendations to stakeholders;
    • Carrying out quality checks on the research procedures.

    Person Specifications

    • For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
    • Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Education, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Planning, Project Management, or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
    • Proficiency in computer applications;
    • Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution only for the successful applicants.
