    Research Assistants

    • Research Assistants will play a critical role in supporting the project’s research activities by conducting data collection, analysis, and reporting. They will engage closely with the community to gather insights and contribute to the project’s risk mapping and co-creation processes.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct field surveys and interviews with community members to collect qualitative and quantitative data.
    • Assist in the development and testing of research tools and methodologies to ensure relevance and reliability.
    • Collect and organize data from various sources, maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
    • Perform preliminary analysis of collected data to identify trends and insights.
    • Prepare detailed research reports, summarizing findings and providing actionable recommendations.
    • Support the facilitation of community workshops and focus group discussions to gather diverse perspectives.
    • Collaborate with the Data Analyst to ensure proper data processing and visualization.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality of all collected data, adhering to ethical guidelines.
    • Provide logistical support for field activities, including arranging transportation and equipment.
    • Conduct literature reviews to inform the development of project strategies and interventions.
    • Document and archive all research-related materials for future reference and reporting.
    • Contribute to the development of risk and vulnerability maps, integrating community feedback.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field.
    • Experience in field research, particularly in community engagement settings.
    • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
