    Route-to-Market Coordinator - EA, SA & CEMAC

    The RTM Coordinator, EA, SA & CEMAC, will support the design, execution, and optimization of Route-to-Market strategies across these markets. This role ensures efficient distribution, trade execution, and partner management to drive market penetration and sales growth in line with business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    Route-to-Market Strategy Execution

    • Implement RTM strategies to improve distribution efficiency and coverage across EA, SA & CEMAC countries.
    • Support the deployment of RTM models, including direct distribution, wholesaler, and distributor-led routes.
    • Monitor RTM performance and recommend adjustments to enhance market reach and availability.

    Distributor & Trade Partner Management

    • Identify, onboard, and evaluate distributors and key trade partners across EA, SA & CEMAC.
    • Ensure compliance with agreed performance metrics, including order fulfillment, pricing, and coverage.
    • Work with the Commercial team to enhance distributor capability, inventory planning, and market execution.

    Sales & Market Analytics

    • Track and report key RTM KPIs, including numeric and weighted distribution, sales volume, and outlet coverage.
    • Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to improve RTM effectiveness.
    • Leverage data insights to drive route optimization and sales execution improvements.

    Trade Execution & Channel Development

    • Support the implementation of trade promotions, activations, and in-store visibility programs across markets.
    • Work with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure RTM alignment with brand and trade marketing strategies.
    • Monitor stock levels at distributor and retail levels to avoid stockouts and overstocking.

    Process Improvement & Digital Tools Adoption

    • Collaborate with IT and Sales teams to enhance RTM processes using digital tools and data analytics.
    • Promote the adoption of sales automation and distributor management systems for real-time tracking.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in distribution efficiency and last-mile delivery.

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in RTM, Sales, or Trade Marketing within an FMCG company.
    • Experience managing RTM strategies across multiple EA, SA & CEMAC markets.
