Sales Controller at Rentokil Initial

Requirements
A vacancy has arisen for a Sales Controller. Based in the Nairobi office, you will support Sales operations within various branches as may be required.

The purpose of this role is to generate increased sales volumes by ensuring all enquiries, leads and development opportunities are maximized through making appointments for field based sales colleagues, and selling over the telephone. Contacting and building relationships with customers through phone, thereby ensuring an excellent sales experience for all existing and potential customers. As holder of this position, you will be on a monthly sales target . You will earn lead commission as shall be set by Management.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

1. Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers (internal & external) and to always act with customers in mind, meeting their expectations and requirements.
2. Demonstrate ethical sales behavior at all times, respecting the diversity of all colleagues/customers.
3. Contacting the allocatedcustomers and cross/up-selling company services & products
4. Make KAM updates on monthly basis
5. Establish and detail customers’ needs, competently demonstrate the benefits of company's products and services, and respond appropriately to a customer’s requirements
6. Increase conversion of sales against marketing driven campaigns and leads, and provide feedback on results.
7. Conducting of Customer Voice Counts as may be advised and generating actionable reports.
8. Ensure all sales data and relevant records are kept up to date.
9. Establish a systematic course of action for self to ensure accomplishment of sales objectives and goals. Determine priorities and allocate time and resources effectively.
10. Work alongside the sales and service team to ensure that all new and existing customers are set up and managed effectively.
11. Develop and implement tactical plans with the Sales Manager in line with the Company sales strategy for prospects and customers.
12. Make appointments per territory for Sales Consultants and strictly pass them to the respective sales consultant for the respective territory.
13. Increase the productivity of the field sales colleagues to help achieve their sales target
14. Ensure that all enquiries and leads are qualified and followed up.
15. Assist the field sales colleagues to manage their time effectively by ensuring diary is maximized, up to date and accurate at all times.
16. Make quality appointments for the field sales colleagues from enquiries, leads and other sales opportunities.
17. Generate weekly and monthly inquiries, leads and telesales report, submit to Line Manager Weekly
18. Follow up and reactivate terminated accounts due to poor service and price as outlined by Line Manager
19. Look out for marketing activation opportunities and share with Sales Manager together with Branch Managers
20. Coordinate sales exhibition materials and set up
21. Ensure optimum stock of sales materials including brochures and any merchandise as agreed from time to time
22. Support the Tender department as required & cover for Sales Admin staff that are absent or on leave
23. Adhoc tasks as outlined by Line Manager or Regional Managing Director
