    Sales Executive(Fintech/Payment/Banking)

    INDUSTRY: FINTECH/BANKING/PAYMENTS

    Our Client was founded on the principle that every African must be able to participate and thrive in the global economy. To achieve this objective, we have built a trusted payment infrastructure that allows consumers and businesses (African and International) to make and receive payments in a convenient borderless manner.

    We are looking to fill a Sales Executive  This role will primarily be responsible for sales of the company’s products with key objectives to drive merchant and consumer onboarding and revenue growth.

    What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be Like  

    1. Responsible for meeting and/or exceeding sales quotas by engaging with prospects and setting up high quality meetings that lead to quality pipeline and revenue
    2. Utilize lead generation tools available for outreach for Source leads via outbound prospecting
    3. Make contact with potential new customers across a variety of channels - phone, email, social
    4. Initiating the sales force cycle right from lead generation to transacting customers
    5. Ensure effective management of relationships with key merchants (enterprise and retail businesses).
    6. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of deals in Salesforce
    7. Ensure that customer complaints are investigated and promptly resolved across all channels
    8. Review sales performance against set budgets on a periodic basis, and recommend action plans for improvement
    9. Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly sales reports for Management’s review
    10. Develop a deep understanding of competitive offerings to each Flutterwave product, and  identify positioning opportunities
    11. At consumer and SME-level, drive product awareness, traffic, adoption and active users.
    12. Consult to the product development team on local market view of product specifications and market relevant features
    13. Attend workshops, trade shows and seminars to keep up-to-date with changes in the industry
    14. Provide leadership and mentoring required to get the best of business associates in the team
    15. Act on behalf of; and perform any other duties that may be assigned by management
    16. Maintain expert knowledge in the use cases and benefits of company’s offerings and how they impact each user in an organization
    17. Support in creation of sales messaging, follow up, and presentations to customer and prospect accounts
    18. Develop creative ways and ideas for reaching and engaging with prospect personas

    Skillset

    1. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in business development and sales
    2. Curiosity mindset and willingness to continually learn and improve
    3. A passion for growing your career in a fintech sales role
    4. In-depth understanding of sales systems to support successful sales delivery
    5. Good knowledge of Fintech, finance and digital banking
    6. Efficient multi-tasker and ability to work & deliver under pressure
    7. Experience creating and presenting reports to executive management
    8. Proficiency in CRM tools including Salesforce
    9. Excellent negotiation and communication skills
    10. Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
    11. Excellent people and relationship management skills
    12. Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment and can easily adapt to new and challenging projects
    13. Ability to influence others and create a sense of urgency for your cause
    14. Authorized to work in Kenya without sponsorship
