Sales Representative at Reeds Africa Consult

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Salesperson to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design and craftsmanship, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to educate and assist customers in selecting unique, high-quality products.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage customers in a warm, professional manner.
• Provide in-depth product knowledge on Products.
• Assist customers in selecting items that match their preferences, needs, and budget.
• Maintain showroom appearance through regular dusting, arranging displays, and ensuring a visually appealing layout.
• Track and replenish stock as needed and inform management of low inventory levels.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Handle customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Stay updated on new arrivals, artist backgrounds, product stories, and trends in antiques and décor.
• Participate in sales promotions, product launches, and store events.
• Assist with packing, delivery coordination, and after-sales follow-up.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing or a related course.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of antique valuation or art history is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in using sales systems and basic computer applications.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays as needed.
