    Sales Trainer

    The sales trainer will drive frontline training for the field sales and delivery teams. He/she will lead the development of short- and medium-term training and development for this group. They will ensure a high level of knowledge and competencies within the field sales and delivery team.

    Location: Kenya, with frequent travel to the regional offices

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Minimum 3 years proven work experience as a sales trainer and field-based coach in FMCG.
    • Minimum 5 years hands on experience in field-based sales within FMCG industry
    • Ability to conduct skills gap analyses to identify areas of improvement
    • Monitor sales objectives and results of each sales rep to assess training impact
    • Monitor customer service NPS scores for delivery agents
    • Onboard new salespeople and drivers by conducting orientation to sales process, conducting market orientation by scheduling market visits with senior reps and providing resources and assistance
    • Collect feedback from trainers and managers about training programs
    • Maintain updated records of all trainings
    • Experience developing training content

    Requirements:

    • University degree in relevant area e.g., Sales & Marketing
    • Relevant IT skills and experience with e-learning platforms
    • Ability to work independently
    • Excellent communication, coaching and presentation skills
    • Certification in training will be an added advantage
    • The role will entail travel across Sokowatch regional offices
