SD-WAN NOC Engineer – L1 at Zaneta Techbiz Limited

Working Hours: 24/7 Rotational Shifts
Experience: 1–3 years in Networking / NOC Operations
Reporting to: NOC Team Lead / NOC Manager

About the Role

• We are looking for an SD-WAN NOC Engineer to monitor and support multivendor SD-WAN environments, perform first-level troubleshooting, and coordinate incident resolution while maintaining network availability and customer SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

• • Monitor SD-WAN devices, WAN links, tunnels, alarms and network performance.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, packet loss, latency, routing and device issues.
  • Log, prioritize and track incidents within agreed SLAs.
  • Collect diagnostic information and escalate issues to L2 teams.
  • Coordinate with ISPs, field engineers and customer teams for service restoration.
  • Support device onboarding, replacements, post-change validation and shift handovers.
  • Maintain incident updates, reports and troubleshooting documentation.

Required Skills

• Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN (Viptela): vManage, vSmart, vBond, cEdge/vEdge, OMP, TLOCs & IPsec.
• VMware SD-WAN (VeloCloud): Orchestrator, Edges, Gateways, DMPO & link monitoring.
• Fortinet Secure SD-WAN: FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, SD-WAN & IPsec VPNs.
• Strong fundamentals in TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT and routing.
• Familiarity with CLI, ping, traceroute, monitoring and ticketing tools.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech., BCA, B.Sc. IT/Computer Science, Diploma or equivalent experience.
• CCNA or relevant vendor certification is an advantage.
• Hands-on exposure to at least one listed SD-WAN platform preferred.
