Security Guard at KEDA Kenya Ceramics Company Limited

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY:

• Protect life and company property.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To protect life and property belonging to the company.
• Routine search of employees coming in and out of the company.
• To protect at all times the entry and exit gates of the company to ensure unauthorized people are not given access into the company.
• Conduct night patrols.
• To prevent and detect crime.
• To arrest and hand over offenders to the police.
• To maintain peace and good order in the company.
• To report and give feedback to the security Manager.
• Any other duties assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completed KCSE Education Level and above.
• More than 2 years of work experience in a similar role with NYS training an added advantage.
• Physically fit with no criminal record and a height requirement of 175cm and above.

KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

• Good communication and decision-making skills.
• Good in written English and Fluent oral English.
• High level of integrity.
• Team player
• Self-motivated and can work under minimum supervision.
• Able to work odd hours and in a shift system.
