Security Guard at Stedmak Gardens and Recreational Centre

Responsibilities:

• Patrol the premises regularly to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to detect any suspicious activities or disturbances.
• Respond promptly to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized entry or criminal activity.
• Conduct security checks of guests, employees, and visitors entering and exiting the premises.
• Report any security incidents, accidents, or violations of hotel policies to the appropriate authorities.
• Assist in conducting investigations into security-related incidents as directed by the security manager.
• Follow established procedures for key control, access control, and other security protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests and employees with inquiries or requests when needed.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments and external agencies to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a security guard or relevant position.
•  Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
•  Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
•  Strong observational and communication skills.
•  High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in security is a plus.
•  Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
