We are seeking to recruit a Security Manager for our Client. he/she will drive the development and standardization of security policies, procedures and programs for safeguarding operations. This position will directly support the client’s security operations, threat mitigation and emergency response, as well as physical security design/installation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide strategic direction in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of comprehensive security policies, protocols, and procedures aligned with organizational objectives.
Oversee enterprise-level risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities across all sites and operations.
Lead the selection, negotiation, and performance management of external security service providers to ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant services, including guarding operations and alarm response.
Direct complex investigations into security incidents, ensuring thorough documentation of findings, root-cause analysis, and formulation of strategic recommendations to prevent recurrence.
Provide executive oversight of surveillance infrastructure, including CCTV, backup alarms, and access control systems, to safeguard assets and personnel.
Champion regular audits and inspections of all security systems and technologies, ensuring optimal functionality, regulatory compliance, and readiness to respond to emerging threats.
Lead coordinated response efforts during security breaches and critical incidents, ensuring timely escalation, resolution, and post-incident reporting to senior leadership.
Establish and enforce robust access control frameworks governing employee, contractor, and visitor movements across all facilities, maintaining the highest standards of security and confidentiality.
Provide strategic oversight and performance management of on-site security teams, ensuring effective control of entry and exit points and adherence to protocols preventing unauthorized access.
Oversee the secure opening and closing procedures of all warehouses and offices, ensuring consistency and accountability across locations.
Drive the Client’s security awareness initiatives and training programs to cultivate a proactive security culture and ensure all personnel understand their roles and responsibilities in safeguarding company assets.
Minimum Requirements and Competencies
Good communication skills to liaise with staff, visitors, and external agencies.
At least 5-7 years’ experience in managerial role in the security/Business Continuity Industry.
Degree in Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and security Studies or Diploma security Management and legal services.
Ability to write clear, concise reports on security incidents and assessments.
Technical Proficiency.
Familiarity with security technologies like CCTV systems, access control, and alarm systems. Basic knowledge of IT security practices may be beneficial.
Experience of dealing with information and intelligence, good analytical skills.
