Security Officer/Supervisor at Muthaiga Country Club

Job role

To provide excellent security services to the Members upon entry and until they exit from the Club. S/He will be the point of contact with the Members as they come in and leave the Club, sort out any Members’ issues at the Club and direct these concerns to the right channels for immediate resolution.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Be the first and last point of contact with Members as they enter and leave the Club.
• Be calm, courteous, pleasant and firm when dealing with Members.
• Resolve Members issues at the gate in relation to processing of gate access cards for Members and guests. Follow up to ensure any issues noted have been resolved and provide feedback to Members, either directly or through the established channels of communication.
• Ensure consistency in communication with Members.
• Ensure efficient processing of Members and guests at the gate.
• Ensure consistency in authorization and registration of visitors entering the Club.
• Filter Members’ queries and channel to the right office(s) for further action.
• Document all concerns and compliments and escalate to Security Manager for further action.
• Ensure consistency in security procedures always.
• Conduct investigations as directed.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Background in Security& or Security studies – preferable
• Experience in security supervision –Ideal
• Experience in conducting investigations – added advantage
• Excellent, communication, interpersonal and people skills
• Outgoing nature, enthusiastic, pleasant personality.
• Flexible team player.
• High level of integrity and commitment.
• Excellent supervisory and problem-solving skills
• Computer proficiency – a must.
