Senior Accountant at Baron Capital Limited

Baron Capital is seeking to recruit a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to support the Finance Department in delivering accurate financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining effective internal controls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling key accounting functions, including reconciliations, financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance, while contributing to overall financial efficiency and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Perform bank, supplier, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and internal financial policies.
• Support external audits and coordinate audit documentation and responses.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Oversee timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA (K) qualification is mandatory.
• Membership with a recognized professional accounting body (e.g., ICPAK) is preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, audit processes, and financial reporting standards.
