JS Morlu & Company Certified Public Accountants is a fast growing firm of accountants based in Nairobi, Kenya. We are a subsidiary of JS Morlu Global which has its head office in Virginia United States of America. JS Morlu other offices are in Ghana, the Gambia and the Caribbean.

We are recruiting Audit Seniors to join our assurance team based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years audit experience gained from a firm of accountants in its assurance department
• Superior experience in the use of CaseWare Audit Software is mandatory
• Knowledge and experience in the use of Audit file software will be an added advantage
• Excellent and demonstrable practical experience in IFRS and ISAs
• Supervisory experience is desirable
• Must be ready to meet demanding deadlines
• Ability to adapt and embrace new audit tools
• Superior IT skills

Job Descriptions

• Draft financial statements of client companies
• Compile audit working papers
• Train and supervise junior staff
• Prepare tax returns of client companies
• Drafting of proposals for potential assignments

Other Responsibilities

• Keep abreast with developments in IFRS and ISAs
• Build relationships and interact with clients
• Research IFRS, ISAs, US GAAP matters
• Serve as internal IFRS and ISA expert for firm
• Collaborate with accounting staff with tax insight for clients
