The Role Description

The Senior BI Analyst is responsible for delivering data-driven insights to help drive strategic decision-making in all business operations. This role will require interacting with various stakeholders to understand complex business needs in order to build, deploy and monitor various analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Gather business needs and requirements in order to develop appropriate business intelligence solutions.
• Produce high quality data visualizations to support core reporting requirements of the business.
• Optimize performance of our Power BI reporting system.
• Produce actionable data-driven insights acquired through exploratory data analysis, research and modeling to promote informed decision-making and business problem solving.
• Respond to data requests from different stakeholders for reporting and marketing purposes.
• Train and empower end users to solve problems using Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Analyze business problems to determine appropriate technical and/or non-technical solutions.
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to conduct experimental studies by applying techniques such as survey design and implementation and A/B testing.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Math, Computer Science, Statistics or related field
• 3+ years experience in a similar data analytics role
• Advanced use of data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI or similar) and a strong background in data storytelling and visualization
• Experience writing SQL queries to query data from relational databases
• Passion for using data to tell a story, and to drive decisions.
• Great communicator with the ability to interact with different stakeholders to collaborate on defining business needs as well discussing data outputs.
• Great work ethic with ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently and take on projects independently.
• Eager to learn new tools and technologies within the data science space.
• Healthcare domain experience is an added advantage
