Our client in a FMCG Industry is looking to hire a Senior Executive Accounts

Job Purpose;

To run the day-to-day operations of the Finance and Accounts Department by ensuring accurate payables, correct cash flow forecast and monitor reconciliations.

Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Periodic review and reconciliation of assigned general ledger accounts.
2. Oversee the general accounting functions to include cash management/reconciliation, financial analysis and reporting balance sheet management.
3. Bank accounts reconciliations and resolution of emerging issues with the banks.
4. Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts.
5. Assist in developing and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
6. Monitoring and evaluation of cash flow movements and forecasting.
7. Review and recommend improvements and additions to accounting systems and procedures.
8. Ensure accurate allocation of expenses to correct cost centers.
9. Validating accuracy of supplier payments by ensuring creditors aging is reconciled.
10. Preparation, filing and timely payment of all statutory returns.
11. Computation and posting of landed costing for imported materials and updating costing tracker

Skills and Qualifications

1. Degree in Finance/ Accounting or equivalent from a reputable university.
2. CPA-K / ACCA qualification.
3. Atleast 5 Years’ relevant accounting experience in a manufacturing industry.
4. Previous work experience implementing and managing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems.
5. Working knowledge of tax laws .
6. Must have a good understanding handling Imports & Landed Costs
7. Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
8. Experience in Excel, Outlook and Work
9. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Good time management and  reporting skills.
11. Good management and  supervisory skills.
