Senior Finance Officer at SasaPay

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute financial strategies to drive revenue growth, cost optimization and alignment with company objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and reporting, delivering insights for decision-making and ensuring accurate revenue recognition.
• Manage treasury, liquidity and payment operations, including float, reversals and reconciliation, to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure transaction security, regulatory compliance and risk mitigation, working closely with auditors and strengthening internal controls.
• Enhance financial systems and workflows, automating processes to support scalability and operational sustainability.
• Mentor the finance team and collaborate cross-functionally to drive strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of financial management experience, preferably in Fintech.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations governing mobile money transfer services.
• Expertise in financial software, accounting systems, and Fintech tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
