Senior Manager- Group Traded & Country Risk at Equity Bank Kenya

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and Implementation of Traded and Country Risk Policies and Frameworks for the Entire Group and related subsidiaries.
• Contribute to ERMF implementation. (Enterprise Risk Management Framework).
• Reporting and analysing as applicable - on Market, Counterparty Credit, Liquidity, Country and other relevant risk types. Including Preparation of Market Risk board and GALCO reports
• Development of group risk initiatives as required.
• Market and Counterparty Credit Risk support of the products traded and proposed in Treasury, EIB and other areas of the group.
• Proactively manage risks to avoid Traded and Country Risk Losses for the Group.
• Performing and amalgamating Scenario and Stress Testing – ERMF.
• Coordinate and participate in business partnership meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics / Risk Management / Finance / Banking / Accounting or Mathematics related field or equivalent.
• ACI Preferred
• FRM / PRM Preferred
• Experience of 7yrs in Market Risk or Treasury.
