    Senior Manager, Network Infrastructure

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Leverage expertise in emerging technologies (e.g. virtualization, cloud computing, etc.), benchmarks and architecture as well as broader business strategies to define and drive the appropriate network infrastructure strategy (data centres networks, WAN/LAN, firewalls, voice) for the region across multiple countries.
    • Identify, define, and lead the implementation of network infrastructure migration opportunities across the region as part of the broader infrastructure strategy.
    • Assume one stop accountability for the delivery of enterprise-wide infrastructure and infrastructure operations at an optimal cost of tech across the region.
    • Proactively monitor, manage, and mitigate risk (e.g. reputation, resilience, stability, security) associated with infrastructure and infrastructure operations technologies.
    • Create and maintain necessary capability, knowledge, and skills both personally and within the Network infrastructure team to deliver world-class network solutions to the Bank.
    • Provide technical governance and leadership around design and use of KCB Group’s network infrastructure.
    • Conduct ongoing assessments of the Banks existing network infrastructure and build and communicate relevant insights, consumption, cost etc. for business decision making.
    • Proactively and meaningfully collaborate across the value chain and broader region to translate the technology roadmap into implications for the design and delivery of sustainable strategies and solutions.
    • Ensure sustainable, regulatory compliant infrastructure product service design and deployment for the region.
    • Embed a culture of ongoing maintenance and optimization of the infrastructure as a way of doing things and hold accountability for an optimized infrastructure base across the region

    Minimum Position Qualification Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in an ICT-related field or Electrical Engineering.
    • Postgraduate Degree (Master’s) in a relevant domain is preferred.
    • Professional Certifications: CCNP (Enterprise/Data Centre), Firewall vendor certification (CCNP Security/Fortinet NSE/Check Point CCSA/CCSE).
    • Cloud Certifications: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - Solution Architect Certifications are advantageous.
    • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience is required.

    Required Specific Experience:

    • 7 years of experience in Routing & Switching
    • 5 years of experience in Network Security
    • 4 years of experience in Software-Defined Networking
    • 5 years of experience in Technology Leadership
    • 5 years of experience in SLA Vendor Management

    Additional Advantage Specific Experience:

    • 4 years of experience in Unified Communications
    • 4 years of experience in Project Management
    • 3 years of experience in Cloud Computing
    • 4 years of experience in Network Functions Virtualization
