Senior Program Officer - (2 Posts) at County Government of Kakamega

Duties and Responsibilities

The officer will assist the Director – CYSWEP and will be responsible for the following roles:

• Coordination of programs in the Service and ensure their successful implementation;
• chairing the Service Promotion Board;
• To chair the Service Tender Committee;
• In charge of Transport operations and logistics
• chairing Service Discipline Committee;
• To monitor and evaluate Service activities;
• In charge of Service Sports and other co-curricular activities; and
• Coordination of Emergency responses.
• Any other assigned duties by the Director from time to time

Requirements for Appointment

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution;
• Certificate in Computer Applications;
• Proven work experience for a minimum of five years.

OR

• Diploma in management, administration or relevant qualification from a recognized institution in Kenya;
• Certificate in Computer Applications; and
• Proven work experience for a minimum of five years in a similar role.
