    Senior Sales Representative – Distribution and Manufacturing

    Our client is an established Distribution and Manufacturing company. They are seeking to hire a Senior Sales Representative who will be responsible for selling fertilizer and chemicals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
    • Actively generate business for the organization using various marketing techniques and meet sales targets.
    • Apply a consultative sales approach that enables all sales opportunities to be realized.
    • Collate, organize, manage, and develop contacts, accounts leads, and opportunities
    • Present sales, revenue, and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team for review.
    • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
    • Gathering market and customer information.
    • Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations.
    • Meeting planned sales goals.
    • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

    Key Requirements:

    • Minimum Bachelor’s in Business Administration / Sales/ Marketing.
    • Must have five (5) or more years of experience in B-to-B Chemicals and Fertilizers Sales and business development.
    • Must have experience in highly interchangeable commodities industry and not specialty products industry.
    • Good global understanding of sourcing operations, awareness of the risk elements that affect the commodity business, and a clear understanding of what is important to such a business.
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
    • Demonstrated sales/business development capabilities.
    • Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing and in business development
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
    • Ability to flourish in a highly competitive environment.
