Service Technician at Atlas Copco

Job description

To provide technical service support to our customers, through regular on site visits and providing service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide workshop and onsite technical service: Repairs, preventative maintenance, calibrations and service support on Compressors.
2. To conduct regular customer visits providing technical support, assistance and guidance as and when required to aid and develop new service, product and solution sales.
3. Provide service, support and product demonstrations and promotions to customers in motor vehicle manufacturing, and general industry segments.
4. Provide customers with technical support during breakdowns, over the phone and when required on site.
5. Maintain and provide inspection reports on repairs and services to customers.
6. To carry out preventative maintenance services on a scheduled and planned basis.
7. To provide advice and consulting to customers with regards to maximizing equipment Uptime.

Experience requirements

1. Working Experience in a manufacturing/production.
2. Flexibility in being able to respond to the customers’ demands.
3. Ownership culture and resolution approach
4. Approach customers with total product and solutions in mind.
5. Microsoft Office Suite
6. Valid drivers license.
7. Good Health.
8. Self Starter

Qualification and Knowledge

Service experience.

Qualification and Knowledge

Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
