Job Brief

• We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Machine Operator to join our production team.
• In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining fabrication machines, ensuring all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner.
• Your duties will include reading and interpreting blueprints, setting up and operating machines, performing quality checks, and routine machine maintenance.
• Our ideal candidate has experience operating metal fabrication machines, and can work with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate metal fabrication machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet production specifications and standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ensure work area is clean, secure, and well-maintained.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Assist in the training of new staff as required.
