Software Developer at Onfon Media

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Developer at Onfon Media Limited in Kenya. The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying software applications, developing front-end and back-end components, conducting software analysis, testing, debugging and deployment. The Software Developer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop user-friendly software and provide technical support when needed.

Backend Skills

• Python Programming Language using Flask Framework
• SQL Database using Microsoft SQL Server

Frontend Skills

• Javascript with React
• Tailwind CSS

Added Advantage Skills

• AWS, Containerization
• DevOps Knowledge, CI/CD, Microservices

Minimum Qualifications

• A degree in Computer, Information Technology or Software Engineering or Equivalent.
• Strong programming skills, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Two Years' Experience
• Can demonstrate and/or provide examples of capabilities and required skills.
