Role Summary

The Software Developer will primarily work as part of an in-house Software Development team. The Software Development team is responsible for the effective design, implementation and operation of software projects to support business operations, and implement changes to internal and external facing services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the business on issues related to software design and requirements
• Drive change to implement efficient and effective strategies as advised by management
• Work closely with peers in the business to fully understand the business process and requirements.
• Gain enough business knowledge to be able to actively participate in specifying software solutions for business needs.
• Show flexibility to respond to the changing needs of the business.
• Actively contribute to the process of continual improvement, with regard to self, team and systems
• To provide ongoing support on issues that arise, following the escalation processes, and debugging and applying fixes where required.
• Responsible for designing software architecture based on requirement and develop quality code that meets the business requirements
• Develop readable, testable, and maintainable code to spec
• Commitment to continued technical and professional growth;
• To develop code to support business operations, and implement changes to internal and external facing services.
• Define and deliver software that meets and exceeds the expectations of your team and line managers
• Lending your knowledge and positive approach to your team members
• To write documentation around existing and future features, processes, services and products.
• Interfacing with other teams to understand their business, goals, and visions for software supported by our software Team;
