Sourcing Executive at Tawi Fresh Kenya Limited

• The S.E. will be responsible for confirming Quality and Quantity at the farm level, delivering products from farms, and confirming received items at the packhouse.
• The S.E. will explain the desired produce specifications and attributes to farmers, to ensure future collections have 95% acceptance rate (or higher). 

 Roles and Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading company products.
• Assisting Drivers to find farm locations and mapping out the optimal collection route.
• Compiling accurate sourcing records and reports i.e. Pick Up Notes & Goods Return Notes.
• Reporting all Farm collection-related challenges to Line Manager.
• Effectively communicating with farmers and gathering feedback.
• Maintaining company equipment – scales and crates.
• Liaising with logistics and sourcing team in case of any changes to daily routes.
• Assisting with the unloading of the delivery vehicle at the point of receiving.
• Confirming quality and quantity of produce at farm level and giving real time feedback.
• Ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Creating strong relationships with farmers.
• Recording farmer details and issuing Pick-up notes to farmers.
• Any other roles that may be added from time to time by the Line Manager.

Requirements

• Must be a holder of KCSE certificate.
• Good people management and communication skills.
• Self-driven individual with ability to plan and execute multiple demands.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision, meet set targets and deadlines.
• Quick to learn and trainable.
