Job Requirements

ACADEMIC    BACHELOR- LAW (LLB)
DIPLOMA    Post Diploma in Law
EXPERIENCE    Minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience;
OTHERS    Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
PROF    An Advocate of the High Court
SKILLS    Be Proficient in computer application

Job Responsibilities

Responsibility Description

• Assisting in carrying out of office and field based investigations into allegations of violations of the Legal Education Act, standards and applicable rules and Regulations;
• Assisting in investigative research and determine the appropriate presentation of investigative results;
• Assisting in the review and assessment of complaints or allegations and formulate investigation plans;
• Assisting in reviewing and analysing all information to determine its relevance and reliability, conduct interviews of staff and other involved parties;
• Assisting in conducting compliance checks on all legal education providers;
• Obtaining and analyse potential documentary and electronic evidence;
• Assisting in monitoring and reviewing information from legal education providers to detect non-compliance or assess problems;
• Assisting in writing reports and ad hoc briefs pertaining to investigations; and
• Assisting in the assessment of application for recognition & approval of qualifications in law obtained outside Kenya
