Supply Chain Director at Summit Recruitment and Search

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Restructuring:

• Develop and execute strategic plans for restructuring the supply chain to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.

Policy and Procedure Development:

• Design and implement new supply chain policies and procedures tailored to the needs
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):

• Establish comprehensive SOPs for all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
• Train and educate staff on SOPs to ensure consistent adherence and performance excellence across the organization.

Supplier Management:

• Evaluate existing supplier relationships and identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
• Source and onboard new suppliers/vendors who align with the company’s values and quality standards.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions for the company.

Quality Assurance and Control:

• Implement quality control measures throughout the supply chain to uphold the highest standards of product and service excellence.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify deviations and implement corrective actions as needed.

Continuous Improvement:

• Lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes, systems, and technologies.
• Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the supply chain team to stay ahead of industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience (15 years) in supply chain management.
• Demonstrated expertise in organizational restructuring, change management, and strategic Supply Chain Management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards common goals.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
• Knowledge of best practices in supply chain management and a commitment to staying updated on industry trends.
