Supply Chain Management Officer at Public Service Superannuation Scheme

Job Description

The duties and responsibilities of the officer will entail assisting in: -

• Sourcing for goods, works and services as per the procurement law;
• Raising purchase orders for goods and services for approval;
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services;
• Maintaining and update a list of prequalified suppliers;
• Assisting in undertaking market surveys to ensure the Scheme obtains value for money;
• Ensuring safe custody of all procurement’s records; and
• Participating in the opening quotations.

Requirement for appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Purchasing and Supply Logistics, Business studies or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Proficiency in computer applications;
• Member of professional body either KISM or CIPS; and
• Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
