Supply Chain Planner (For Manufacturing Client) at Walk In Solutions

(Gross Salary 50k - 70k KES pm)

Job Purpose:

To prepare daily production plans as per approved customer LPOs to meet promised delivery time.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Preparing the Production Plan (Daily/Weekly/Monthly) based on Sales Requirement
• Ensure OTIF for Sales Order by timely and accurately assessing the production capacity and assigning production plan
• Reducing changeovers and non-production time
• Ensuring availability of FG for dispatches
• Liaising with Sales, Production, Dispatch, Quality and Finance to plan the optimum utilization of resources to minimize inventory and maximizing customer service level..
• Reviewing status of production plan execution to make any necessary adjustments.
• Liaising with production to confirm status of production machines.
• Reviewing of machine efficiencies for consideration while making the plan.
• Any other duty as may be allocated by management.

Qualifications Experience:

• Work experience of 3-6 years in Supply/Demand planning in manufacturing environment.
• Graduate degree in any discipline, preferably engineering
• Knowledge of various plastic production machines.

Skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Expertise in MS Excel, Familiarity with ERP systems
• Aptitude to understand production operations and constraints
• Aptitude to understand sales operations and constraints
