SURVEY ASSISTANT - REF KFS/SA/2024 - KFS GRADE 10 - (7) POSITIONS
Entry Requirements :

• Diploma in Surveying or equivalent from a recognized institution
• Member of Institution of Surveyors of Kenya
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Fulfil requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution.

An officer at this level shall report to a senior officer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Will undertake all kinds of cadastral and control surveys.
• Carry out theodolite work and related computations and adjustments.
• Carrying out angular and distance measurements and computation for small density topographical, site engineering, general boundary, and photo control surveys.
• Gather physical survey data
• Transformation of coordinates from one projection to another.
• Calculate geographical positions from one survey data to another.
• Draw contours to aid in KFS physical construction works.
• Promote public values and principles
• Mentoring and coaching
