Position Overview

• The Swimming Pool Attendant/Boat Rider ensures the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of guests using the hotel’s swimming pool and boating facilities. This dual role combines guest service, safety monitoring, and equipment handling to deliver a premium leisure experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Safety: Monitor pool and boating areas to prevent accidents, enforce safety rules, and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Facility Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, boats, and surrounding areas; check water quality and report issues.
• Equipment Handling: Operate and secure boats, life jackets, and poolside equipment; ensure proper storage and upkeep.
• Customer Service: Assist guests with poolside needs, boat rides, and recreational activities; provide clear instructions and friendly support.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with lifeguards, recreation staff, and hotel management to coordinate guest activities.

Qualifications

• Swimming Skills: Strong swimming ability; lifeguard certification preferred.
• Boating Experience: Prior experience operating small boats or watercraft safely.
• First Aid Training: CPR and First Aid certification highly desirable.
• Hospitality Background: Previous work in hotels, resorts, or recreational facilities is an advantage.
• Communication Skills: Ability to interact warmly and professionally with guests of diverse backgrounds.
