    System Administrator

    Responsibilities:

    • Configure and maintain application environments including development, quality control, and production environments.
    • Work collaboratively with system architects, system analysts, developers, etc. to provide appropriate access and resources for application server environments.
    • Manage environment provisioning, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
    • Deploy completed software packages to all environments following established deployment pipelines.
    • Coordinate deployment schedules with development teams and stakeholders.
    • Monitor system performance, availability, and health across all application environments.
    • Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to server environments, applications, and infrastructure.
    • Document system configurations, procedures, and technical specifications and maintain up-to-date documentation of environment architecture and dependencies.
    • Ensure compliance with UN security policies and IT governance standards.
    • Keeps abreast of developments in the field; performs benchmarking and proposes new acquisitions.

    What we are looking for:

    • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience interacting with and administering MS Windows Server environments (server administration, PowerShell scripting, Windows Server configuration).
    • Minimum 4 years of experience with DevOps processes and tools, including, Azure DevOps (boards, repos, pipelines, artifacts).
    • Proven experience configuring and maintaining multiple application environments.
    • Experience with Azure cloud management is desirable, including PaaS

    Education:

    • A first-level university degree (Bachelor's degree) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field is required. Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is desirable.
