    Temporary Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Assistants

    JOB SUMMARY:
    We seek to recruit temporary Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Assistants to support Monitoring and  Evaluation activities for HIV care and Treatment services in sub counties in Kakamega, Vihiga, Nyamira and  Kisumu counties.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support MOH Facility and Sub-counties data management, provision of data collection and reporting tools to the facilities. Monitor and support trend analysis of the facility level indicators achievement against targets 
    • Review data capture in the registers and reporting tools for completeness and accuracy.
    • Ensure that facility dashboards are updated 
    • Coordinate and support sub-county and facility data review meetings 
    • Work with HRIO to collate all the data from the different service points and aggregate data for facilities.

     
    JOB SPECIFICATION:

    • Minimum Diploma in Health Records, public health, biostatistics, epidemiology, information systems or related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant professional experience in M&E in HIV/AIDS programs, especially  Care and Treatment. 
    • 1 years’ experience in supporting implementation of EMR in Health facilities and KP Dice
    • Training in M&E will be an added advantage. 
    • Relevant experience in information technology, M&E and data management with solid experience in setting up data management and quality improvement systems. 
    • Good working knowledge of DATIM and other PEPFAR data reporting systems 
    • Familiar with various HIS platforms to include KHIS, DATIM, CPMIS, National Data Warehouse, 
    • ODK applications, UShauri and KenyaEMR.
    • Proven experience in implementation of MOH EMR and other electronic data systems at health facilities. 
    • Experience and skills in data extraction, analysis and use of KHIS, EMR and other National HMIS systems. 
    • Ability to work independently and to proactively identify and address data issues and to meet strict deadlines.
