    Transport Economist

    About You

    Core competencies required are:

    • Master's degree in economics, transportation economics, or a related field
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience transport economics, preferably in developing countries context
    • Strong analytical skills and experience in conducting economic analysis and developing economic models.
    • Knowledge of transport policy, planning and regulation.
    • Experience in cost-benefit analysis and project evaluation
    • Excellent communication and report-writing skills
    • Experience working with government agencies, development partners, and private sector stakeholders.
    • Fluency in English, with excellent writing and presentation skills
    • Experience working with international development organizations or donors, such as WB, USAID, DFAT, MCC, FCDO, EU, AfDB and ADB is an advantage.
    • Experience working in Sub-Saharan Africa
