Technical Assistance Manager – Energy Entrepreneurs Growth Fund at Triple Jump BV

Responsibilities

• Manage in-depth TA assessments - in collaboration with deal teams - for EEGF Investees to identify capacity gaps;
• Develop, implement and scale TA projects that contribute to improving operations of companies and help strengthen the broader Access-to-Energy ecosystem;
• Manage and facilitate external consultants/advisors to implement TA projects;
• Monitor, measure and report on TA projects and impact to investees and portfolio;
• Support the implementation and monitoring of Engine Room Support (operational support provided to investees by one of EEGF’s partners, Persistent) projects;
• Develop annual plans and budgets for use of TA funds and implementation of projects;
• Coordinate the various donors/investors who have contributed to the TA facility, including fulfilling any reporting requirements;
• Raising additional funding to enable scaling of TA services;
• Contributing to building Triple Jump’s brand as reputable, knowledgeable front-runner in the climate impact sector;
• Participate in and contribute to company-wide projects when requested.

Requirements

• University degree in Economics, an MBA or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in the field of consulting and TA in the impact sector in developing countries.
• Strong relevant expertise in the access to energy space, preferably in Africa.
• Solid project and program management skills.
• Experience in procuring and managing multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Existing network of qualified consultants in operational and commercial areas across Africa is preferable.
• Fluent in English and a working knowledge of French.
• Excellent writing and communications skills.
