Turbine Operator at TransMara Sugar Company Limited (TSCL)

TSCL is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the vacancy for the Turbine Operator Factory Department. Interested candidates should fulfill the following conditions:-

Job Purpose.

• The Turbine Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient and continuous operation of the turbines at the factory, including auxiliary equipment maintenance.

Key Task and Responsibilities.

• To make sure the turbines are operating as they should be by ensuring cleaning and maintaining all machinery parts and troubleshooting potential abnormalities before they become a serious problem. Turbine Operators assist with both general repairs and out-of-crop maintenance. Report all important turbine operation parameters in a designated logbook.

Professional Qualification/Skills.

• Diploma or equivalent; professional certification in Mechanical Engineering
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and availability for emergency call-outs.

Experience

• A minimum of 2-3 years.
